A national survey of over 2000 people found the following results

  • 20% of UK adults would consider having some form of orthodontic treatment to improve the alignment and appearance of their teeth
  • Of the adults who felt orthodontic treament would be of benefit
56% would have treatment for an improvement in appearance
25% for an improvement in self esteem
18% for an improvement in oral health and function
At Wetherby Orthodontics we celebrated the week by holding a day of FREE orthodontic assessments and advertised the week before on Real Radio. This proved really successful and we met some lovely people who will really benefit from orthodontic treatment. Most commented that they would love a better smile and that it would make them more confident, especially when our socialising.

All week visitors and patients were invited to enter a free draw for an iPod Touch, the winner is Fran Hannan who collected her iPod the following week and was delighted with the prize.
